AISSEE Exam Pattern – Class VI Admission

The exam pattern for Class VI is carefully designed to test a student’s foundational knowledge, reasoning skills, and overall aptitude. Understanding the exam structure helps candidates prepare effectively and manage time during the test.

Mode of Examination:

✔ The AISSEE 2025 will be conducted in offline mode using OMR (Optical Mark Recognition) sheets.

✔ Candidates must mark answers carefully with a blue or black pen.

Duration:

✔ The exam duration is 150 minutes (2 hours 30 minutes).

Type of Questions:

✔ All questions are Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).

✔ Each question will have four options, out of which only one is correct.

Language of the Exam:

✔ The paper for Class VI will be available in English, Hindi, and 13 regional languages as notified by NTA.

✔ Candidates must select their preferred medium at the time of application and cannot change it later.

Subject-wise Distribution of Questions and Marks:

1. Mathematics – 50 Questions × 3 Marks = 150 Marks

2. Intelligence (Reasoning) – 25 Questions × 2 Marks = 50 Marks

3. Language – 25 Questions × 2 Marks = 50 Marks

4. General Knowledge (Science & Social Studies) – 25 Questions × 2 Marks = 50 Marks

1. Mathematics carries the highest weightage (50% of total marks). Students should focus heavily on this subject.

2. Intelligence and Language test logical reasoning and communication skills.

3. General Knowledge questions cover science, history, geography, civics, and current affairs at a basic level.

4. There is **no negative marking**, so students are encouraged to attempt all questions.

Exam Day Tips:

✔ Reach the exam centre early with the admit card and required documents.
