Step 1: Online Registration

✔ 1. Visit the official portal: https://exams.nta.ac.in/AISSEE/

✔ 2. Provide the following details:

✔ 3. Full name, father’s name, mother’s name (as per school records)

✔ 4. Date of Birth (dd/mm/yyyy format)

✔ 5. Gender

✔ 6. Valid ID (Aadhaar/Passport/School ID/PAN/Other Govt. ID)

✔ 7. Active mobile number & email ID (for OTP verification & future communication)

✔ 8. Create a password → Note down the Application Number generated.

Step 2: Fill Application Form

✔ 1. Personal Details: Candidate’s name, gender, DOB, nationality, category, etc.

✔ 2. Contact Details: Address, city, state, district, PIN code.

✔ 3. Education Details: Current class, previous school, medium of study.

✔ 4. School Preferences: Select the Sainik School(s) or Approved New Sainik Schools.

✔ 5. Exam Centre Choices: Select 4 exam cities in order of preference.

Step 3: Upload Documents

✔ Prepare scanned copies in the prescribed format:

Step 4: Pay Examination Fee

✔ 1. Pay through SBI Payment Gateway (Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, UPI).

✔ 2. Save the fee receipt & download the Confirmation Page.

✔ 3. If confirmation page is not generated, retry payment → the first attempt will be auto-refunded.

✔ Fee Details:

General / OBC (NCL) / Wards of Defence / Ex-Servicemen → ₹800

SC / ST → ₹650

Step 5: Final Submission

✔ 1. Submit the form only after checking all details carefully.

✔ 2. Download & print at least 3 copies of the Confirmation Page.

✔ 3. Keep your Application Number & Password safe.

Step 6: Correction Window

✔ 1. Limited period for editing errors in the form.

✔ 2. After closure, no further changes allowed.

Step 7: Admit Card Download

✔ 1. Admit Card will be released on the NTA website.
